Use the Online Forms to Submit a Privacy Request
For most people, the fastest route is the online privacy form provided by LexisNexis Legal & Professional. Their Privacy Center organizes request links by location, and the steps below apply to U.S. residents using the LP U.S. form. It's a clean, browser-based process and doesn't require account creation. To begin, open the LP U.S. privacy form in a new tab so you can follow along without losing your place.
Step One
Scroll down until you reach the section titled "Submit a Privacy Inquiry". The first drop-down asks, "How do we know you?" Most consumers should select "Other", since there is usually no direct relationship with LexisNexis. The next drop-down asks for a Contact Reason. Choose "opt out of marketing and communications".
Below that, you'll see fields for personal information. Only enter details you're comfortable sharing. Providing more information can help their systems match your record more easily, but it is not strictly required.
Step Two
After confirming your email address, scroll to the bottom of the form and click "Submit". The page will refresh and display a confirmation message. At that point, the request has been logged. Any additional review or follow-up, if needed, will be handled internally by a privacy agent, and no further action is required unless LexisNexis contacts you.
The LexisNexis Risk Data Management, Inc. side of the organization uses a different privacy workflow and offers two separate opt-out forms depending on residency. The steps below apply to consumers who live outside California. California residents should skip ahead to the dedicated California process. To begin, non-California residents can open the RDM Opt-Out Form in a new tab.
Step One
After the form loads, review the short overview explaining consumer privacy rights and how an opt-out request affects data use. Once you're comfortable moving forward, click the red "Next" button.
Step Two
The next screen outlines considerations around personally identifiable information, including optional data such as Social Security Numbers. Read through this section carefully, then select "Next" to proceed.
Step Three
You'll now see a simple page with a single drop-down menu. Open it and select "I do not want my information shared". Click "Next" to continue.
Step Four

The Communications page is optional. Here, you can provide a phone number, email address, or mailing address if you want LexisNexis to contact you with questions. If you prefer not to, simply select "Confirm Request".
The final screen will display a confirmation number along with a summary of your request. Save or record this number for reference, as it may be useful if follow-up is needed. Once this page appears, the opt-out submission is complete.
For California residents, LexisNexis Risk Data Management, Inc. provides a separate opt-out form in response to state privacy regulations such as the CCPA. This California-specific process allows eligible residents to request a full opt-out directly online. To begin, open the California Online Request Form in a new browser tab.
Step One
Once the form loads, scroll down to the section requesting your name and residential address. All fields marked with a red asterisk are required. Complete these required fields carefully, then continue scrolling toward the bottom of the page.
Step Two
Near the bottom, you'll see a list of data rights options. Select "Full Opt-Out", which is the appropriate choice for removing your information from public-facing uses.
